Wendy Kirkup is an artist based in Newcastle. Her recent work reinterprets her body with technologies as varied as CCTV and ultrasound. Her collaborative project, Search (1996) was prescient of the current convergence of media in its re-broadcast of surveillance camera footage onto mainstream television.
